The maintenance points of spherical bearings include the following aspects:
Regular inspection
Conduct comprehensive inspections at regular intervals, generally no less than once a year. Check the appearance of the support, including whether there is rust, damage, deformation, etc. Check if the displacement of the support is within the normal range.
- Check whether the anchor bolts of the spherical bearingsare cut off, and whether the rubber sealing ring of the support is cracked or aged;
- Check whether the relative displacement of the spherical bearingsis uniform, and record the displacement of each support one by one;
Cleaning work
Timely remove debris, dust, and accumulated water around the bearings, and carefully wipe off the dust on the stainless steel surface with cotton thread. Keep the upper and lower surfaces of the bearings clean to prevent dirt accumulation from affecting its normal operation.
Lubrication and maintenance
Regularly apply lubricating oil or grease to the sliding surface of the movable bearings to ensure smooth sliding. Check the condition of the lubricating material and replace it promptly if it has deteriorated. Loosen the foot nut once, clean and oil it to prevent the nut from rusting, and then strengthen it;
Check and verify the height change of the support to check the wear of the PTFE plate inside the support. When the height change of the support exceeds 3mm, the rubber seal ring should be removed and the condition of the PTFE plate should be checked;
Regularly apply paint and rust prevention treatment to the steel components of spherical bearings (excluding stainless steel sliding surfaces).
